Guys and their dumb ideas.

“Real outdoorsmen prove Sarah Palin is a fake.”  Oh good gried. If I read one more post about some guy claiming to be an expert hunter, I’ll have to pick him off with my Buck Roger’s beanflipper.  Normally, I post links to what I’m reading, but this one was so stupid I’m not going to bother.  Instead, I’ll dissect the little bugger.

Claim: She shot 4-5 times at a wandering caribou and missed
ME:  If you were paying attention to the show, you would know that the sites on the gun were off from when her dad took a plunge down the hill.  Once she borrowed her dad’s gun, she took it in one shot.

Claim:  When she shot the first time and missed, she panicked and shot at it as it moved, apparently thinking it would be easier to hit that way than when standing still
ME:  Oh the countless deer that lie dying every year in the woods because some dumb guy got all excited that a deer was in front of him, shot, missed the mark, maimed the deer and then spent hour after hour looking for it only to return empty handed.  You’ve got to do better than that guys.  Try again.

Claim:  She took no practice shots.
ME:  Neither did I and neither did my dad.  Neither does any hunter who hunts on our 300 acre farm!  Try again.

Claim:  She didn’t check the sites (they were off)
ME:  Refer to previous response.  The same fits here.

Claim:  She didn’t carry her own rifle; she let her father and his friend carry it for her (her father is 72-years-old to Palin’s sprightly 46)
ME:  Yes, folks, carrying your own gun makes you a real hunter.  LOL  If you bothered to read her books, you would know that Palin is very much a daddy’s girl and that her dad always carried his kids stuff.  He loved and loves doing it.  That’s him.  So!  Try again!

Claim:  She let her father load the rifle
ME:  Yip!  See previous response and you’ll have an answer to that one. Plus, my dad loaded my gun for me every now and again.  Try again!

Claim:  When the rifle was passed to her, Mama Grizzly “moved her finger inside its trigger guard, a breach of basic safety rules” as one website noted
ME:  Yip!  Shall I count off the number of guys who I know who do that?  Try again.

Claim:  “On leaving her hunting camp one morning, Ms Palin pointed to the horizon and declared ‘Let’s go west.’ There followed an awkward pause. “That’s east,” noted her father.”
ME:  ROFL!!! That was a classic moment!  I loved it!  Anyway, yes, getting your directions all mixed up is sure sign you’re not a hunter or an outdoorsman.  Ohhhh the number of guys I know who can’t go on the hill without getting lost.  Try again.

Claim:  She was under-armed (her father called her weapon a “varmint rifle” yet she expressed concern that it might have a kick)
ME:  Oh give me a break.  I’ve never in my life shot a rifle that I didn’t ask in advance about the kick.  I’ve met few guys who didn’t ask, and those who were too stupid to, were either told by dad, or dad would look over, give an evil grin and watch the guy lose half his face on the cheek burn.  LOL

You guys who claim to be such “great” experts on hunting are so pathetically lame, and I think by my break down I’ve proved it.

One more thing!  As for Palin’s hunting license - you don’t need a license if your under 15.  Personally, I’ve never had a license in my life, but I’ve hunted.  Never bought a fishing license until I was in my mid-20’s.  Fished illegally all the time.

Which leads me to ask you lame experts - how many times have you hunted or fished illegally?  Oh wait. I forgot. Males are perfect law abiding citizens.  (I’m still laughing.)

Sarah Palin Run for President 2012

Sarah Palin campaigning in Des Moines
Politics Daily has an article that suggests Sarah Palin might possibly run as an Independent.  After reading her book, "Going Rogue", I think it would be her best way to go.  If she runs as a Republican, the party will be telling her what to do at every turn, like they did during the McCain/Palin campaign.

From what I understand from reading her book, she pretty much ran independent when she ran for governor of Alaska, despite actually running as a Republican. She didn't have the money the other guys had.  She didn't have their support.  She wore her own clothes.  She met with the people who counted - the little guys, and didn't play the games the big league guys play.  She didn't and still doesn't mind insulting people in her own party.   They find that annoying.  And she wrote her own speeches.

Palin had to be doing something right, because she won the governorship, and as governor her poll figures were off the charts for a political leader.   She had figures in the 80's and 90's.  Other politicians would kill for results like hers.

Despite her record, and her ability to get elected without the usual games, the McCain gang and whoever was running the show behind that didn't trust her judgment on what needed to be done to win the election.  I think they would have won if they had listened.

I hope Palin runs for President, and I hope she goes Independent.  We need a woman in the White House who can grab the old boys by the ear and get them back in line.  Maybe they don't want her President because they know she will.  Maybe they get it that some of them will end up wearing orange like some in the previous administration in Alaska.

One thing we do know, is the battle to discredit her will go all out if and when she announces whether she's running or not.  Her previous political success will be tossed and the lies will fly - but she can take it.   Bring it on.  Because you're going against a woman who defeated in court one of the biggest oil corporations in the world, Exxon/Mobile, TWICE in 2.5 years.

Good luck with that.

And there went the governors jet....

"I came to office promising major ethics reform to end the culture of self-dealing. And today, that ethics reform is a law. While I was at it, I got rid of a few things in the governor's office that I didn't believe our citizens should have to pay for. That luxury jet was over-the-top. I put it on eBay. "

Sarah Palin, Dead Birds and Fish, Body in a Dumpster

Sarah Palin holding a T-shirt related to the G...                                 Image via WikipediaI've had some stuff on my mind the past couple days, so welcome to my dump night.  : )

SARAH PALIN

I drop in every day on Sarah Palin's facebook page to see what's up.  I discovered Palin is popular in Pakistan!  That was interesting.  Yesterday, I found an entry where a person who likes Palin thinks she's a hypocrite because she talks about loving America and drives a Japanese car.  A couple of us had to explain to the poster that there's no such thing as an American made car.  The parts come from Germany and Japan.  Why? Because they are superior.  My '86 Chevy Nova had a Toyota engine.  : )  It's a bit of a shock to people, but that's the reality of "American made" autos.

Later I did a news search on Sarah Palin's Alaska, which if you haven't seen it you're missing out on the best trip around Alaska you'll ever get.  Anyway, someone was insulting Palin's choice in wardrobe.  Naturally, the person insulting Palin's clothes (which I happen to like) is from the city.   Well, guess what city folk, Palin isn't exactly city, she's country. Country folk only dress what you city folk would call "nice" when we have to, otherwise you dress comfortable - and in her case it's camouflage, jeans, hockey or basketball shirts, etc.  : )

DEAD BIRDS AND FISH

Wow, this one was a shocker. What's even more of a shocker is people being willing to attribute it to natural causes created by nature.  Then there's the rest of us who are already being labeled as conspiracy nutcases and giving conservatives a bad name.  Well guys, to each his own.

I want to see the government talk their way out of this one.  I'm sure it will be a dozy. For what now?  More than 60 years the government has been doing chemical experiments on the population.  Don't believe me?  Google it.

Anyway, someone really botched it with this next one, and I'm sure someone will pay the price for it.

BODY IN A DUMPSTER

Coincidence?   Not hardly, so be prepared for another giant cover up, much like when the Clinton's picked off Vincent Foster.  Rush Limbaugh did a brilliant job of an open and shut case back then that proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Hilary was behind it.
So who will be the lucky sucker who takes the rap for the government picking this guy off?

Signing off for the night,
The conspiracy loving, conservative nutcase.  : )
