I’m sitting here scratching my head over the morning news at all the people putting out books about the Palins. Why them? I don’t see books coming out about the other potential candidates. What makes the Palins so special that people keep wanting to write books about them? or is the real question - Why is Sarah Palin such a threat that people feel the need to write stuff, as in “making stuff up” like Levi Johnston did, to discredit her?
Maybe we should also ask - is someone paying these guys to do it?

Trig's Dad is Writing a Book about the Palins

"This is a sweet and funny book with a touch of irony; a fascinating tale of a misunderstood boy figuring out how to be a man and a father after being thrust into the spotlight and subsequent media circus at a very young and vulnerable age," Stacy Creamer, Touchstone vice president and publisher, said in a statement. "Levi has seen the Palin family up close and personal and is ready to tell his story."
Can you find the words that got me laughing? Yip:
1. misunderstood boy
2. thrust into the spotlight
3. very young and vulnerable age
Creamer makes him sound like a 3 year old. Let’s face it, Levi, you weren’t misunderstood. You weren’t innocent. This isn’t the early 1900’s, it’s 2011, and every kid knows that if you get a candidates daughter pregnant you’re going to end up in the spotlight. Young yes, vulnerable - no.
First time around, Levi was a spiteful little brat who lied and did a good bit of damage to Palin when she was running for the vice-presidency.
Hopefully, his book really will be “sweet and funny,” but readers should keep his past in mind and take any off-the-wall negativism towards the Palins with a grain of salt. Consider the source.
