Thoughts on Neda

Out of curiosity, I clicked the link to watch the video of Neda bleeding to death in the street.  I watched again and again.  Each time wondering how many times she laughed, cheered and danced in the street - every time a Jew was murdered in Israel.  I feel no pity.

I thought of the 8 young boys who were murdered by a bloody muzlim while they sat learning Torah at Jerusalem's Mercaz Harav Yeshiva.  They were ages 15 -26.

The Iranians cheered.

I thought of Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg, Mumbai Chabad House, and those with them who were massacred by some bloody muzlim.

The Iranians cheered.

The odds of Neda not cheering with the rest of Iran - are non-existent.  Therefore, to my fellow Jews who feel bad for her demise - I don't agree with you.  I don't pity the enemy.  I don't pity the violent death of someone who cheered the death of a Jew in or outside Israel.

In my eyes - her death means one less fan cheering in the anti-Israel, anti-Jew club.

Like I said, I feel no pity.

"Neda Agha Soltan didn't believe that we always have to fight and quarrel and be violent and have death," said Makan. "There's only one thing (Iranians) must fight and that's ignorance.
And you don't fight ignorance with a sword or a gun. You turn on a light." Neda Agha Soltan, music student martyred in Iran, June 2009

Let's just say she might have felt that way. And perhaps she did! But! That way would have only been felt toward someone who isn't Jewish.

So, it doesn't change anything.

PS: Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it. : )

Iran has never been a friend to good people anywhere.
From its history as Persia to its take over by Arabs (who love to take everything over) it is a nasty place.
It's people dispise Jews and through out history have murdered untold numbers of them.

It is sad that today the pity of the world is for the nations that have harmed the world and continue to threaten it over and over.

I don't recall such pity for Shalhevet Pass the tiny baby deliberately targetted by Arabs for death, or the baby Yehuda upon whose head they dropped a 35 lb "stone". The list goes on and on.

Pity should be for those who have done no harm, but only good.

King David prayed for his enemies. But his pity for them was only for how they waste the life G-d gives them.
We can pray for our enemies that G-d stops their insanity before even more innocents are murdered by them. The pity stops there, however.
All of David's prayers for his enemies were for G-d to stop them.
That's real love. You thereby are asking for the safety of the innocent and that the bad no longer be able to continue in sin.
win/win situation.

I will pray that G-d stops Iran dead in it's tracks before they do more damage with their insane plans toward the innocent.
Especially toward Israel who is the first nation in the middle east to give aid in disaster even to their enemies!!
As David said.. I prayed more for my enemies than for myself! He had to!
And as it also says we heap coals of fire on their heads in so doing.. Proverbs 25 I believe.

But I don't pity the enemy as some do.
When King Saul pitied the Agag, the prophet Samuel took the sword and killed him. G-d removed the kingship from Saul at that moment.

G-d says he is at war with Amalek throughout all generations..forever.
This includes Iran. You should never be found fighting G-d.
My pity remains with the good and the innocent and not with nations that promote evil.

Sorry to preach here but I am sick of the misplaced and sappy idea of "love and pity" that the world seems to have for evil these days while they hate the good.

Pitying the enemy only gives them power over you so they can get you later.

Lib Jews pity the so-called palestinians and it just gets us killed.

We send them aid, only to strengthen them so they can kill us.

It's stupid.

It's no different with iran. Pity them and they'll kill us. In fact, with iran - pity them and they'll seek to kill everyone. They aren't exactly narrow in their targets.

This delusional state people are living in thinking iran could ever be a free democratic country is beyond imagination. It won't happen. They're still muzlim. Peace, freedom, democracy are all the antithesis of islam. They can't co-exist together.

This isn't another version of Tienanmen Square. China isn't a muzlim country. It could have changed and still could.

BUT! Wherever there is izlam - there can be no change - it's against their religion. Literally.

But, people prefer to live in blindness, rather than face the reality that iran is evil, as is islam.

I am writing a post now referring back to your post here.
I think you really gave people things to think about deeply.
People mourn over the wrong things today.

wow. that's a humbling thought. I usually just tick people off with my ramblings. LOL

Looking forward to reading your post. :)

I agree that people are getting too carried away by the enthusiasm

Yeah, that getting carried away shows they're not thinking reality. That can be a dangerous thing.
